If you order a commission from me, you must follow these terms.
I may decline to take any commission without a reason given.Italicized or underlined sections are used to assist readability, not to indicate extra importance.All the terms apply, but there is a "TLDR" at the bottom to summarize.

Payment
» For Direct Message commissions, payment is taken via CashApp _(preferred) or PayPal, and expected within a reasonable timeframe. All costs/fees will be tallied on an invoice in the Trello entry. Ko-Fi commissions will take payment via Ko-Fi's interface. «
» Ko-Fi commissions are paid in full up front. Direct Message commissions may be partially paid up front as a 'deposit' or 'half payment', and the remainder paid after finish. In the event costs or fees are added after an initial full payment, the total added fees will be paid at finish «
» If I as the artist must drop/cancel your commission, you will receive a full refund for what has been paid so far. This is the only situation in which I will refund payment for work completed, or refund a 'deposit' or 'half payment' paid up front. No refunds are offered after the artwork is finished. «
» Refunds requested before artwork completion will be given for work not done; if an artwork is 100% paid and 40% complete, you will receive a 60% refund. If an artwork is 50% paid and 50% complete, no refund will be given. «
» Experimental commissions, or projects which take an extended amount of time (such as custom designs), may instead of flat pricing use an hourly rate of $20/hr. This will be stated up-front before work begins, and commissions that use an hourly rate will have hours tallied on the Trello with each new WIP. A 'deposit' payment of $20 will be requested upon completion of the first hour of work, and the remainder may be paid either at finish or in regular installments. «Process
» My drawing process differs for the style used, but every piece will begin with a sketch/sketches. The sketch/es will typically be sent over for approval before work continues; this is the best time to request edits, as they will all be free during the sketch stage. «
» Time taken on an artwork will vary based on its complexity and my real-life schedule. Generally, smaller artworks may be completed within 2-10 days, and larger projects may take multiple weeks. «
» I may ask clarifying questions on your requests for the art, and get your confirmation for any requests/edits that would add an extra charge. This is to make sure the finished piece is as you like it, and that I am not misinterpreting you or adding costs you did not expect. «
» I am not obligated to accept huge changes to composition or posing after the sketch is approved, and I will not refund an artwork over edits or changes that could have been requested in the sketching stage or any already completed stage. «
» General artwork status will always be visible on my Trello. «Edits
» If a mistake in the artwork is due to my own forgetfulness, or missing critical character details that were already visible to me, I will usually volunteer to fix these for free. This does not apply to errors in the ref sheet or description I am given. «
» Edits requested by the client are free to a certain point. Small edits, or edits which in total take <15min to complete, may be free. Major edits, or edits which in total take 15+ minutes to complete, may incur costs of 5%+ the total price per 15min. «
» In example: It is requested to change the color of a marking. The marking is drawn on its own layer and can be easily recolored and takes 3min to do; this would be considered a small edit and no additional cost. Multiple quick edits like these will be free so long as the total time spent is <15min. «
» It is requested to reposition the character's arms. The arms must be entirely redrawn for this, and it takes 30min to complete the edit; this would be considered a major edit and add 5% total price to the artwork. If instead the edit took 45min, it would add 10% total price to the artwork, due to another 15min work. «Use
» The art may be posted anywhere and used for personal, non-commercial purposes as long as you don't make money off of it.
As an example, use for a pfp, icon, prints for yourself, paying someone to make a pin with the art, selling the character that was drawn - okay. Requiring users to pay you to view the image, paying someone to make physical merch to resell for profit - not okay (without prior permission). «
» Anywhere the art is posted, it must either have the watermark legible, or be accompanied by written credit/tagging me if I am on that site. My personal carrd lists every account I actively use. «
» I the artist reserve rights to post and display the artwork I created as an example of my work. Ko-Fi commissions will always be posted publicly on Ko-Fi. For Direct Message commissions, you may request to keep the final artwork private. «

: TLDR :» I take payment through Cashapp or PayPal. Payment must be sent within a reasonable timeframe, or You must communicate why you cannot send payment. «
» If You request a refund, You may not receive a refund for work I have already done. «
» You agree to pay some amount of the final price up-front or at sketch completion, and any remainder before the final artwork is sent over. «
» You may request WIPs at any time, or view live updates on my Trello. «
» Edits totaling <15min work will be free. Edits over that time will add 5% cost per additional 15min. «
» You can use the artwork how You wish as long as You don't make money off it, or claim to have drawn it. «
» I may post the artwork where I like, unless you have requested to keep the artwork private. Ko-Fi commissions will always be publicly posted. «

Design Ref •:• $20/hr
A custom character design created with your specifications and requests. Every ref includes at least one fullbody sketch with color, as well as any written text desired (for name, design notes, character info, etc). Detail shots, second fullbody views, etc. can be added on as desired.Style/brush used is variable and reflects what fits the character concept, and what I am most comfortable using at the time. If you would like a lined reference sheet, or a reference sheet in a specific style, that must be ordered as a separate commission.[ Design Approach ]

•- Designs TOS -•
These terms exclusively apply to my custom designs. Custom commissions still also follow the general TOS for my art.» By default, my designs are not allowed to be used for commercial purposes, ie as the face of an organization or business, for merch designs, etc. without notice before commissioning. (I am amenable to these uses if you state up-front that your intentions for the design are commercial uses.) If I find you have used my design for commercial purposes/profit without notice, I may blacklist you. «
» If my design is uploaded to Toyhouse, its character page may not be deleted without notice given. If another buyer does not have a Toyhouse account, I would be willing to act as temporary holder of the character page until the owner sells to an individual who has a Toyhouse page, or acquires their own Toyhouse page to assume ownership of the character page through. «
» If you cancel a custom design commission, or cease to respond for an unreasonable length of time (ie weeks), I may 'salvage' the design in progress and either keep or resell the design as an adoptable. Personal or sentimental features may be altered or removed to make the design individual. «
